The Dean is the senior member of the clergy team at the Cathedral, and heads the Cathedral Chapter and its senior management team.
The Dean will also be the senior member of clergy within a Diocese after the Diocesan Bishop.

For the Registry, similar paperwork as for a Residentiary Canon will need to be produced.
