The Diocese of Guildford covers much of Surrey and north east Hampshire plus one parish in Greater London, and contains 160 parishes. The diocese was established in 1927, having originally been part of the Diocese of Winchester.
Andrew Burns KC is the Chancellor of the Diocese of Guildford. He is Head of Devereux Chambers, a Deputy High Court Judge, a Crown Court Recorder and a Bencher of Middle Temple. He lives with his family in the diocese and worships at St Andrew’s, Oxshott.
